I think you'll like it, Michael. I found it rather moving as well as a good supernatural thriller. It manages to be very British (complete with guy from the Wire talking in his normal accent) but has a universal appeal.
I've had this movie in my Netflix cue since you first mentioned it on your blog as I honestly don't believe it'll make an appearance at any of the multiplexes where I live.
That's a pity, Oscar - it works well on the big screen, and not just because of the 'jump' moments. But, having bought the DVD, I can testify that it works well as a late-night watch.
Yes, it's going to be strange to hear Dominic West's normal voice.
He came close in The Shield when he played the British guy on holiday seeking naughty ladies.
